This also introduces the 3 Kingdoms (3K) line of TBS missions where you can take 3 mercs along with you main + 1 Cata (actually Trebuchets here). 3K Catas have much better DEF compared to Troy's.
Here I used a Janissary which is somewhat good enough as replacement for Sheriff, although not as efficient since you have to keep activating his Shooting Stance to be most effective.
There are 3 timed events that occur at certain fixed times.
- 44:40 left.
Spawns a group of mobs North of the base, and at the same time spawns a weak NPC which you need to keep alive.
Spawns a group of mobs South of the base.
Spawns a Boss at the enemy territory across the bridge, this also makes your NPC crazy and starts rushing the enemy base while staying as weak as he is. At this point there's no longer need to stall and just try to kill the Boss as fast as possible before he eats your crazed NPC.
- Stall and minimize turns.
There are 2 active Summon Gates so stall your turns as much as possible. This is a timed mission so more turns would only translate to more mobs.
- Split into 2 teams until after the 2nd event.
Have 1 team guard the bridge to watch out for approaching mobs, while the other team takes care of the spawns from the 1st 2 timed-events.
Regroup at the bridge after you take care of the attacking mobs from the 2nd timed-event and clear the bridge of mobs in preparation for the Boss battle.
- You don't need to cross the bridge.
You can just stay on the bridge and keep it clear of mobs while waiting for the Last Boss. There are Flame Traps right across the bridge you'll want to scroll otherwise.
